The Wellness Lab is two hours of actual doing: moving your body, nourishing your skin, drinking good tea and spending time with cats who have absolutely no opinions about your productivity. Four Sydney brands have put together something genuinely enjoyable for a Sunday morning in Marrickville.
What Happens at The Wellness Lab?
The morning runs as two rotating groups, each covering all four stations. Arrive at 10:30am (Group 1) or 11:00am (Group 2) and you'll move through everything before midday.
Korean skincare workshop by Muun Skincare
Muun Skincare runs a hands-on Korean skincare workshop where you'll actually use the products on your own skin, not just watch a demonstration. A reusable tool set is included. Arrive bare-faced so the products can do their job properly.
Mat Pilates with abit.of
Instructor Vanessa leads a Zen-style mat Pilates session using abit.of foldable mats and Pilates props. Think breathwork, controlled movement, and actually using your core rather than just thinking about it.
abit.of mats are 6mm TPE, weigh 650g and fold to the size of a small bag. They're what we practise on at home, and what we're bringing to the event.
Matcha service by Kure Lab and Chawu Tea
Complimentary matcha, served by Kure Lab featuring Chawu Tea. Kure Lab's approach to matcha is unhurried and precise: the kind of preparation that actually asks something of you. Sip slow.
Cat cafe at Cha & Zak's Clubhouse
The venue itself is Cha & Zak's Clubhouse, one of Sydney's best-known cat cafes. Your ticket includes 30 minutes of time in the cat area. There are no goals, no targets and no protocol. Just cats.
Who Is Leading the Pilates Session?
Vanessa is a qualified Pilates instructor with a focus on mindful, accessible movement. Her approach suits all levels, whether you've been practising for years or you've never been on a mat outside of a yoga class. The session at The Wellness Lab is designed to feel grounding rather than challenging, a good way to start a Sunday.
What Do I Need to Bring?
- Comfortable, moveable clothing. You'll be on a mat for part of the morning, so leggings or joggers work well.
- A bare face. Arrive without makeup or skincare for the Muun workshop so the products can be applied properly.
- Nothing else. Mats, Pilates props, skincare products and matcha are all provided.

The Wellness Lab is a collaboration between four Sydney brands. We each do something different, but we share the same view: wellness should be practical, enjoyable and accessible rather than aspirational and expensive.

- Kure Lab is a Sydney matcha stand with a simple belief: every sip counts. You'll find them at Paddington Markets on Saturdays and Parramatta Farmers Market on Wednesdays. At The Wellness Lab, they're bringing that same care to your morning cup.
- Cha & Zak's Clubhouse is a cat cafe in Marrickville hosting the event. The space is warm, intimate and genuinely one of the nicest rooms in Sydney to spend a Sunday morning.

Do I need Pilates experience to attend?
No. The mat Pilates session is designed for all levels. Instructor Vanessa focuses on accessible, mindful movement. If you've never tried Pilates before, this is a comfortable place to start.
Is matcha included in the ticket price?
Yes. The matcha tea service by Kure Lab and Chawu Tea is complimentary and included for all attendees. No additional cost.
What if I have sensitive skin?
Let the Muun Skincare team know on the day. They'll be able to guide you through the products and advise on what suits your skin type. Arrive bare-faced so the workshop can proceed properly.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Transfers are permitted but must be arranged by the ticket holder. Refunds are not available.

How Do I Get a Ticket?
Tickets are available via Humanitix. This is a small, intentionally intimate event and spaces are genuinely limited. No refunds; transfers must be arranged by the ticket holder.
